Conversion and file requirements
Which bank statements does TallyXML support?
TallyXML supports PDF formats from 100+ Indian banks, including SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak and PNB. Use the supported banks directory to learn more.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Yes. The converter checks the file first and shows a password field only when the PDF is encrypted.
Are scanned bank statements supported?
No. Only bank-generated digital PDFs are accepted. Scanned or image-only statements cannot be reliably checked for accurate transaction text.
What files can TallyXML export?
You can download Tally XML for TallyPrime, normalized CSV and raw CSV for spreadsheets, reconciliation and other accounting workflows.
Can I review transactions before downloading?
Yes. The preview lets you search and check dates, narrations, debit, credit and balance values before export.
Does the generated XML work with TallyPrime?
The XML is designed for TallyPrime bank transaction import. Review the selected bank and ledger names before confirming the import.
Is my bank statement stored permanently?
Files are processed for conversion and are not intended to be kept as permanent financial records. Upload only documents you are authorized to process.
How do I start a conversion?
Create an account or sign in, choose your bank, upload the original digital PDF and follow the preview and export steps.
